John, although the fenders are not correct for the earlier PW, I believe after 1965, the 8ft beds were made once again, but with these fenders. If this indeed is a Dodge bed, those fenders can be removed and you will see an outline of the original fenders that were used on the PW. The attribute that caught my eye was the rear bed angle that sweeps up to the tailgate hinge. And the hole there as well.
