If you have the original pickup box on the truck, the pulley on the Ford belt pulley will almost contact the rear sill of the box. You will need to fabricate a spacer of about 2-inches in thickness to position it out away from the sill. Without a spacer, there is another problem. The Ford belt pulley housing mounts on four "legs". These would have to be machined to clear the raised ring on the face of the pillow block at the rear crossmember of the truck.

If you can find one, Hub City used to make cast spacers for use on the Ford Tractors to relocate the belt pulley further from the rear of the tractor. This would put the pulley out even further than a stock New Process Dodge pulley, but it would be the easiest route to go, however, the spacer would need its four legs machined to fit also.

Have you checked out my information on t137.com?
