On a serious note, When I fill my radiator to the brim, The water boils off sending spray all over the windshield (nice test of the seldom used electric wipers) I recently ran the engine in my front yard for an hour at up to 1700 RPM and measured the temperature in 3 locations with an infrared temp gun. I got 130 on the radiator near the outlet, 170 on the head where the thermostat housing attaches and 170 on the side where the temp gauge bulb is inserted. How does that stack up to your measurements?
