Yes. But that is a very difficult job removing and installing a temp gauge in the dash of a Power-Wagon, up under the dash, with all the wires in the way, and trying to get your head in around all the levers and pedals on the floor to where you can see what you are doing, trying to look through bifocals at something 4-inches from your nose. There was no way I was going to remove that sucker without replacing it with a new one while I was under there.
Now that the old one is out, I may try tweaking it to keep as a spare. However, I don't know why it was working one day and the next day it was out of calibration by 15 to 20 degrees. I drove the truck on a 100 mile trip with no problems. When I drove it back home, on the way was the first time it acted up. At the time, all indications were that something bad happened somewhere else in the cooling system.
