Early condenser failures seem to cause missing when engine is under load like going up hill or accelerating. Eventually a bad condenser will lead to starting problems. My experience is you can buy 3 and get 1 or 2 bad ones in the bunch. They are either made in Mexico or China. Its probably the China made ones that you get 2 bad out of the three! I have read that Accel condensers are good but I have not tried one yet.
