So this truck is bone stock with virtually nothing added other than a kooky gas cap & a replacement headlight switch…or knob anyway. The only filter is the little stone filter or whatever those are made of that’s attached to the carb with the fuel bowl. I haven’t messed with it yet but I’ve never had one of those plug before…has anyone else?
There’s no added filter & the fuel tank is clean.
Might pull the lid off the carb & just check there’s no crap in it. When I bought this from Tisdale it had a goofy tank in it that I yanked out & replaced with one I had…so that may be an indication it had a tank problem at one time but I would think if there was junk in there it would run like crap all the time & not just under full throttle.
Still sounds like fuel to me but it could still be electrical.
I guess I should elaborate…it’s more than a miss…it’s like it’s missing on all 6 when it happens which starts to make it sound more like electrics again???
