I think your above statement is accurate. They are 75 year old trucks and folks are used to much more efficient transportation. 45 mph to 50 mph is not a convenient top speed. And how many young people even know how to shift with a clutch? There is a 240Z on Hemmings for which the seller assures it is a "Preservation/Original", and is worth $105,000. In their day, Zs were an an incredible value, but now? My friend has a saying that I have always liked. "They don't build 'em like they used to, ..., and that's a good thing." I love old houses and old cars, but I don't kid myself on how glamorous they are. I am planning for the paint on my PW to look like glass, but it is still going to be a 75 year old truck.
