I know of one that's been parked in the desert in Wyoming for at least 35 years. I researched for a long time to find the owner and tried unsuccessfully to contact the owner for many years, including knocking on his door in Rawlins, but no luck. Finally about 8 years ago, I was able to contact his wife and was told the all original 1948 Power Wagon with factory rear PTO, factory Braden winch and factory flatbed with stock rack was absolutely not for sale. I still visit it occasionally and it still rests in the same place.
