Thank you for posting this Bill. I know that it was very hard thing to do. I hope you find comfort in knowing that we are with you and that we share in carrying the burden.
For those who may not know, my wife, and soul mate, Martie considered Trudy as one of her very best friends, as did I. Martie is devastated. They were never given the chance to say their "Goodbyes" to each other. If only Martie could have been there during Trudy's final hours.
Trudy was viewed by many as the de facto matriarch of the "Power Wagon Family", a loving position bestowed upon her by those who looked up to her.
We must trust that she has found peace.
