Karl, you didn't mention what year of truck you have. I case you didn't know, the fuel senders and gauges from the early trucks operate in a totally different method from the later trucks. If you have a '46 through early '51 model Power-Wagon, neither terminal on the sending unit gets grounded. On those early units, two wires travel from the sending unit to the dash gauge.
