Well, I have what I figured I might have, 3/8ths clearance after installing the shell. I think that will be fine, the hood doesn't flop and I plan on fabricating a brace from the pedal mount to the dash to replace the stock brace and provide stability in the firewall. I could have an issue off roading with frame twist, that could impact it, but I think I'll still be ok. Now to continue forward.
