I would replace the water tube, what your seeing by looking at the end of it is almost nothing until you pull it out of the engine then you will see the MANY years of deposits doing nothing but restricting the water flow through that tube. They can be a bit of a bugger to get out sometime because of these deposits but generally not to bad. To eliminate future possible headaches replace it and then you know your good!
