I do not have an extra. And that brings up an interesting observation. I have one on each of my trucks, and each is slightly different in bend angles and/or locations and overall lengths. The lengths don't vary more than 1/4-inch and the angles not more than a few degrees.
However, I cannot switch the two rods between the trucks and get them to work. I run out of adjustment and I either cannot get all linkages adjusted for correct idle or full throttle depending.
I have never been able to determine if they changed the rods at one time, if someone made one of mine and didn't get it quite right, or if there is enough wear in all of the other parts on one truck that only the rod currently on it will work properly.
I consistently find that one cannot necessarily hope to remove parts from one truck and get them to work exactly the same on another truck although the parts appear identical.
Each truck seems to have its own "personality" for lack of a better term which is not unlike exotic certain vehicles that were hand built one at a time.
It makes it interesting for sure.
