Get the most engine you can get, 130hp version if possible
After cooled or JWAC is worth looking for.
ARP headstuds are a no brainer
P pump engine
Compound turbos, hx30 over HX35 you do not need a waste gate on the 35
Stock 6bt oil pump to help feed the second turbo
3200 governor spring
7mm injectors - if it has the 9mm injectors you are pretty much 100% going to find cracks in the head
downside of the 3.9 is it is rediculously noisy
later computer versions of this engine might be a better way to go
2.8 crate engine has been dropped in a few PWs and that may be the way to go. If I was doing it again i would have the 2.8 high on my list.
