Thanks Clint, I'm afraid McMaster no longer caries step bolts (a bit of a surprise to me). Blacksmith Bolt has step bolts but only up to 3/8", not large enough for the bed mounting bolts. However I did find Nutty https://www.nutty.com/bolts/step-bolts/ which at least has step bolts of the correct size for the running boards.
