I too, over the years, have had manually steered vehicles that have turned easily, and some that haven’t, but none as hard as this one. I have a ‘36 Chevy pickup that’s almost like power steering, but it IS about half the weight of the PW. I haven’t checked, but believe spec’s. for manually steered cars of the 30’s-50’s will show little, if any, position caster.
The ‘57 you mention is a Power Wagon; correct? Just that I never heard the words ‘Power Wagon’ and ‘turns like a dream’ used in the same sentence.....lol
