The photo is taken as if you are on the ground looking up at the floorpan of the cab. Are the two large holes in the transmission hump original, and if so, what are they for? And if you look at the sheet metal with the bent over 180 section, I can get my hand up in that cave, but can not reach it with a grinder. It is the area between the floorpan and the transmission tunnel in the top fifth of the photo. Any idea on how to remove the rust in that area, at least to the point where I can spray some rust encapsulator up there?
