I use a variety of browsers. Explorer under Windows and Mac 9.xx. I also use Netscape and Opra under Mac 9.1. I have never gotten any Java errors. I would question you as to if anything happen recently on your computer. Did it crash recently? Did you add any new software? Think about changes that may have happened. You might want to uninstall Netscape then re-instll it. It might correct a corrupted file or correct an install problem.
The other day, on my Mac, I could not get any application to run with the exception of Netscape. I rebuilt the desktop and did several other things. Not sure what happened but everything is working again. I assume a corrupted file some place.
