Can we expand on this topic a bit more..... would like to hear how others have fixed their roof and how long it has lasted.....
I can understand sandblasting.... but how do you get to the rust inside the folded over seam??? beside if I removed all the rust on mine I would have more air holes than metal.
Has anybody used a rust neutralizer.... such as phosporic acid....???? and then follow up with JB Weld putty.... is the rust likely to comeback.
POR 15 has a putty that can be applied directly to rust then POR 15 over... has anobody tried that.
Needless to say both the inside and top side would need to be done.
Looking forward to reading your suggestions and comments.
