Hi David,
All Hummer tires are 37" 12.50 16.5's.
In 1994 the Humvee also changed to 37" tires.
All original Hummer and Humvee tires were Goodyear MT's, starting in 1994 the Goodyear GS-A was also offered on the Hummer.
You are correct about the 16 vs. 16.5's however anyone trying to mount 16's on a 16.5 wheel would immediately figure it out.
