For those on the forum who are getting tired of the viruses - try out linux.I run SuSE 7.3

The package is NOT windows compatible so windows viruses are not able to find a home.
SuSE 7.3 Linux comes on 7 cds with more than 2000 apps. Some of the more interesting included packages is a cad package, web servers, compilers, several different email clients etc etc etc.
Mandrake and RedHat are both very good distributions of linux if SuSE is not to your liking. They all use the same linux code but each adds different set of applications or configurations to linux.
Linux is a unix type operating system compatible with most hardware. Linux replaces windows as the operating system. You can run some of the windows apps if you really are addicted to some windows apps. IF you really have to have windows - say for turbotax - you can setup a machine to dual boot.
Linux takes a bit more work to learn and use than windows but like the old trucks really good things can take effort.
If you are willing to give linux a chance I'll be happy to help you over the rough spots.
If you think linux (unix) is just for computer geeks - I have a 5 (and an 8) year old daughter who is not intimidated one bit by linux. She does not understand some things yet but she does just fine doing what she wants/needs.
If you are willing to give it a try you'll be surprised just how good it can be to be different.
