Thanks for the input!, I have just finished an e-mail from wincogen.com. I had given them all the info I could find on the eng. and gen.and this is what I was told.
This generator was manufactured in DEC.1982 to be run on 4-6oz (7">11"WC)inlet pressure of natural gas and could/can be converted to run on LP gas at the same inlet pressure. I did not realize when posting that the eng. had a NG type carb and small reg. Also it uses an exciter starting system and requires a large capacity battery for starting power.
It is a 3600rpm industrial 10,000 watt gen.with a continuous duty cycle at 43.5amps.
Oh yea, I got it for $100, the best deal I've lucked on in a good while. Lets hope its the start of a long run of good luck and motivation.
