Are you ready for this? If you really want it restored and need that, someone will have one for you. I used (on one side) the bottom of a tin soup can. Good old Campbell's comes through for me! I cut it with a tin snips to match the other one, cupped it a little, cut the hole in the middle first, then around the hole, the cut the whole thing out. Works okay!
