The patches can be found quite easily on e-bay by searching 'service command' although there's one guy on there now selling an 'Eighth' that looks like a 'Seventh' to me.
I see occasional reference to Service Command stuff, especially as I'm interested in the Alcan / Canol stuff and there were lots of Dodges up there too. Since I'm in Scotland the average UK enthusiast has never seen the eight-pointed star an I keep fending off 'Israeli army' guesses.
