Fuel Tank in my w-200 every once in a while builds up pressure and will sometimes even force fuel out of cap if tank is near full. Can tell it has pressure as it expands the tank and causes it to rattle against back of cab even if there is no fuel being forced out. Have relaced the cap.
Problem happens sort of inconsistently. Of course it rides rough, wondered if the shaking causes this to happen? I thought it was heat causing expansion but it also happens when weather is cold. could fuel pump be somehow bleeding back fuel into tank?
Shouldn't the cap allow the pressure to escape?
