230 & 251 high perf cams

Power Wagon Enthusiasts,
I'm looking for someone with first hand knowledge about the 230 and 251 high performance cams offered by Vintage Power Wagons. I don't intend to exceed 3600 rpm on my 251. Will this cam increase horsepower below that rpm? I'm not looking to turn it into a hotrod, but would like a little more horsepower without an engine swap. I'd be very interested in hearing from someone who has actually used one of these cams.
My Power Wagon is a 1963 WM300 with Braden winch.
