My method was a little easier.
- I drilled a hole in the B pillar where I wanted the top anchor to sit.
- I cut a piece of plate steel so that it would slide snuggly down inside the B pillar.
- Once in position I marked where the B pillar hole was on the plate.
- I drilled a hole in the plate and welded a nut to the back of the it.
-I dropped it back down into the B pillar and set a bolt to hold it in place.
- 4 plug welds fasten the plate to the B pillar, plus the bolt that holds the top anchor.
