Cutting for me is the last resort. When working with steel lines, you need a very GOOD tool, or it's going to result in leaks. I agree with Tim, make a few wider bends to take up the extra length.

P.S. You're running the line close to the clutch pedal. Push in the pedal to ensure it does not rub against the line. You may want to re-bend to get the line closer to the frame. Since the lines don't have steel armoring around them, use pieces of rubber fuel line cut in 2 inch lengths, and split down the side so you can get it over the line in places to prevent the line from rubbing where it is close to metal from creating leaks. Secure hose around line with zip ties.
