I am guessing that the fuel tank in the photo is original. I have an aftermarket fuel tank that does not have the bump up in the tank where the filler neck attaches, so my fuel filler neck is resting, with load, on the frame rail. That does not seem right, and it seems that soon, the weld attaching the filler neck is going to crack. Has anybody else with an aftermarket tank run into this issue? My guess is to put some washers under the tank bracket at the rear tank support in order to raise the tank and filler tube.
