Military fuel pump oil?

Hi guys.
I�m new with the M-37 and all of its features. Disassembled the fuel pump to rebuild and found that the bottom part of the fuel pump down by the vacuum lines had oil in it. Wondering if this is a normal feature for this style or do I have a bigger problem?
