depends on the model, both the 1/2t and 3/4t models came stock with either 218 plymouth or 230 dodge l head six, the 1/2t has room for up to a 265 l head six due to the firewall design, the 3/4t would fit a 251, i am all for staying with a six! better mileage and less strain on the drive train!
