That is quite a procedure, Torvald.
Recently, I tried infusing the ebonite with CA glue since the ebonite is porous. The ebonite certainly absorbed the CA, but I don't think it helped much with sanding. It seems the answer to the sanding issue is to use a whole lot of patience and be careful and detailed. It is a long procedure.
