It looked like a possible winch part, so I looked it up, and yup, it is a "guide". Yup, that is what the parts manual calls it; "guide".
So here is my real question. My "manual" battery charger seems to have an automatic feature that makes it shut off when it gets hot. I am guessing that it gets hot because there is not enough resistance between the negative and positive side in electrolysis. What do you think? And if it is because there is not enough resistance, how to fix so that there is enough resistance to keep it cool and operating consistently?
