Yes well I don’t think the 6 is a poor engine…quite the opposite. I think they have huge torque & a great all around choice for a vehicle of this era. My point…these are farm trucks & id guess probably 90% of them spent the bulk of their life on a farm driving a few hundred miles a year. Lots of folks would have loved to buy & use these for daily drivers but how do I put this delicately… :) …the flat fender power wagon is arguably the most uncomfortable vehicle that I have ever driven. Seeing one with 100k miles is like seeing an Indian 4 with 100k miles :) Is it possible…yes of course. Was it common? No. Lol. I think some of the trucks that were owned by utility companies etc may have seen higher mileage but I’m just curious how many we know have rolled over. We recently found one reading over 70k…that’s the highest I’ve ever seen.
