You have good start there. What you need are the covers. All of the original ones I were of the same cardboard material that the headliner was made out of and with an edging sewn around the parameter.

Here is a ling to some covers at Roberts Motor Parts. The length and color of the covers varied by year. The gray color is not correct for an early truck and the length may be too long. But for the price? They would be better than nothing and I will never tell anyone if they are not 100% correct for your truck.
