Jerry is right, lots of patience.
My wheel had been on from the date the truck was made in 1952 until about 2005 when I worked at pulling it.
Even with using penetrating oil and the special puller, it took over three days with constant upward pressure. The puller drive bolt ended up needing a nudge with an impact gun.
The wheel made a loud noise when it released from the shaft.
