Hi, the article talks about moments. It seems to me that since the drum is attached to the body on its center axis, the moment is exactly the same under vs overwound. The difference is in whether the front vs the rear mounting bolts are under tension, i.e. which way is the winch assembly being twisted as you reel in under load. What am I missing?
