Does anyone know if any of the foot pedal-operated starters from other (non-Power Wagon models) will fit and work on an early Power Wagon?

I'm transplanting a 265 into my '49 B1-PW, and the 265 has provisions for a full-flow oil filter (diamond-shaped raised pad just behind the distributor). I had been planning to keep the original bellhousing, flywheel, starter and transmission. When I mount the filter housing onto that pad, the original foot pedal starter interferes with it. Some other truck models using the 265 also had this filter and had pedal starters that do not interfere because the starters are shorter. I've seen photos of one of these starters, and they look very similar to the one on my Power Wagon, so I'm wondering if they can not up directly or with minor modifications.

My starter part number is Auto-Lite model number MAW-4032. One shorter starter I'm aware of is MCL-6103, used on '49 - '52 1/2 - 2-ton trucks, as best I can tell. I think another one is MCL-6106, and there may be others.

Thanks!
