misusing tools

Seeing the guy in the snow cat video trying to crank his machine reminded me of how easy it is to get hurt by misusing a tool. when I was a little kid I saw a picture in the newspaper of a guy with a 16d nail stuck in his eye. (The news was different then). I will never forget that picture, and have always used extra care when pulling a nail with a hammer or a bar. I have scars from worm drive saws that I have tied the blade guard up. I almost lost my left hand a few years ago from a Hitachi power miter saw kick back.
