If this question has been asked and answered before, please indulge me and please answer it again.
I have never dis-assembled my windshield frame to inspect it or try to repair or replace the rubber seal. I have just kept it shut with much silicone covering it.
I have always heard terms like upper and lower halves but I was always afraid to attempt dis-assembly because I could not seem to get an answer to where I might obtain literature and/or pics of the process.
Are there books covering this procedure (hopefully w/pics)and if so where might they be purchased ?
If no books exist for the dis-assembly, repair, and re-assembly procedure, could someone please tell me, why not ?
It would seem to be a piece worth publishing or re-printing. Surely there were some books printed for this purpose years ago, does anyone have them and be willing to post the info for us to download or at least sell us a copy. Thanks,RDavis
