I am on the verge of buying a 87 ram 4x4 with a 318. I realy don't need the truck, but I am a sucker for a "good deal"($600).
The front drive shaft is out becuase the previous owner said the truck made a whining noise when 4 wheel drive was engaged. What would the worst case, a bad front end or a transfer case, and what could it cost me? Also it has an auto trans, what model should it be, a 727?
