I recently had dealing with a guy selling his fathers stuff. Sunk up to the axle was what looked like an 1960 something Ford Econoline van. Turn out to be a 50's Power Wagon chassis and front end(no winch), with the van body grafted on from the cowl back. Son says that Dad built it, hauled it out to Colorado one summer to ride the hills, then hauled it back East and never used it again. A large tree is laying over the hood, having fallen there over 10 years ago. Come spring time, I will cut the tree off the hood, and see if there is a motor and tranny, etc. Perhaps I will make him an offer for it. I am mostly interested in it for parts, but if it is all there, it would be a shame to cut it up. Next time I am there, I will try to photograph it and post the picture. What would you call it...perhaps a DORD, or a FODGE!
