I drooled over the '69 Hemi Charger when I was 25, but $5k+ was 'way out of my price range then. My salary has gone way up over the years, but in real terms, my purchasing power has not gotten much better. I still can't afford that Charger! I get angry as hell when I realize that my paycheck won't buy any bigger grocery basket than it did 33 years ago. Don't blame the rich collectors, blame the real culprit--our government which has inflated the money supply so insidiously over the years. And maybe, just maybe, the sheep that "We the people" have become for letting it happen. I love my country, but it does have its faults. --Gil
