Don't fool around with your thumb.Seven or eight years ago I was putting some bunk beds together. One piece would not fit and I did not have a rubber mallet(it was in the basement) and was too lazy to get it. Used my fist to dog the piece together, not to damage the finish.My left pinkey went numb. Thought it would come back after a couple days,it did not. Asked my wife to talk to a doctor about it about 3 or 4 mounths later. Doc told her it was nerve damage,could not fix it after a couple weeks. Feels like frost bite after a couple hours in the cold.Get yours looked at.
