I've got couple of these trucks. One of them I made into a log skidder. We put a Tulsa winch behind cab & a log arch off a John Deere skidder with butt plate on rear of truck. It is amazing how big a tree it will pull out of woods. A lot of the parts on these trucks will interchange with other Chevys of the same era. Trucks came with 216 engines but most have been replaced with 235 or better yet 261 engines. The 235&261 motors are better because they have oil pumps where the 216 are oil slingers.
