Both my carryall and PW steer fairly well. The carryall is much better. it does well on the back roads and on the freeway. It is not had to turn except when standing still. It does not wonder at all. I have done 75+ on the freeway and it tracks real well. Why. I totally rebuilt the front end. All new bearings rebuilt the drag link with new parts replaced both the drag link and arm on the left hub as the balls were worn. I put all new bushings and bolts in the springs. And I have adjusted the steering box. My front end is back to new condition and it drives nice as there is no slop in the whole system.
My PW does wonder a little, however I have not gone completely through the front end yet. I have some worn parts.
