Link may help. I use 2" lengths of 1/16 glass setting tape, two on each side of the glass to secure glass, assemble the frame/glass, and silicone applied all around glass and frame, both side of frame using a silicone tool to spread the silicone for a smooth look, to seal. I'm sure that would be a disapproval from FFPW owners, but it allows easy assembly/disassembly of frame and glass using a thin blade knife. Otherwise you will need motor oil to apply to the tape, and rubber mallet to pound the glass and setting tape into the frame which the oil expands the tape over time, and makes it difficult to disassemble which can lead to distorting the frame. The silicone I use remains soft, and can be painted, and scraped off the glass and frame using a safety razor blade for a clean looking installation. PIF's TIP section has tips for installing the outter gasket.
