Check how the fuel line is routed. If routed above the manifold the fuel will evaporate inside the line. It is best to run it straight toward the right fender and have a 90 degree turn downward. This bend and run forward should be very near the splash shield of the fender. When the line gets near the pump then have another 90 degree bend and run it toward the pump, install a short flex line from the metal tubing to the pump. Be sure to use steel line and make all connections using inverted flares.
