First off I wanted to thank everybody who has answered (so willingly) all my questions on this site pertaining to my truck rebuild. Second I put oil in the engine on Saturday and turned the engine over till I had oil pressure then installed the plugs, distributor and plug wires, then turned the engine over for real and it fired up almost immediately, I ran it only long enough to adjust the carb and set the timing. It sounds beautiful this is the first start after the rebuild and it sure made a whole lot of work feel like it was totally worth it! More updates shortly!
