That is a later truck clutch housing somewhere 58 and later. The starter could be a MDM-6602 with drive housing AL-PS-1291M and bendix drive AL-EBB-53. VPW lists there 12V starter up 1950, so you may need to discuss it with them. The housing s/b similar to that used on the M601 truck 1786131. If you have the old starter still, do a comparison. My interchange book for 58-60 WM300 shows for the starter, part number 1889260 which is the same starter used on the M601 truck.
